Our Story
From complexity to clarity, one system at a time
Asha Labs was created in response to a recurring pattern: complex urban and organizational problems with no clear roadmap forward. After decades advising global leaders on infrastructure, energy, and transformation, we saw too many organizations stuck overwhelmed by signals, under-equipped to act. Strategy was either too academic or too slow. Intelligence was siloed. The result? Paralysis in moments that demanded clarity.
We built Asha Labs to change that. Our approach fuses real-world experience with forward-looking intelligence offering both the playbook and the partners needed to implement it. With a focus on energy and cities, we help leaders move from hesitation to momentum, designing systems that don’t just predict the future, but shape it.

Seyi Fabode, Asha Labs is a globally recognized voice in tech and innovation, Seyi offers expert consulting, writing, and speaking services, with a focus on the impact of technology on businesses, entrepreneurship and, future cities.
His global experience across three continents sharpens his insights into worldwide tech trends, risks, and opportunities. As the driving force behind Asha Labs, Seyi has advised international utilities and corporations, informing their roadmaps for growth. He's a trusted expert for investors navigating the city, infrastructure, and utility sectors.
At Clean Energy Trust (2014-2015), Seyi's investments propelled leading decarbonization and energy transition companies. He's also a successful entrepreneur, having built Varuna, and established, scaled, and sold a U.S. venture-backed energy tech firm (Power2Switch).
Recognized as a LinkedIn Global Top Voice in Technology in 2016, 2017 and 2023 (with 160k followers), Fabode holds an MBA from Chicago Booth and an MSc in Systems Engineering from Warwick University.
